From our self designed BREEAM Excellent rated office in Redruth, we travel throughout Cornwall and Devon to deliver quality architectural services across a number of sectors with a keen focus on residential projects, from small extensions to large residential developments. Our team are experienced and devoted to providing a professional service to guide clients through the whole design process from initial concept to site works and completion.
our services
At SPS we pride ourselves in providing a bespoke service tailored to our clients.
outline proposal - We take clients instructions to prepare and agree a project brief. We can then undertake or arrange for a survey before producing a sketch scheme for review / discussion. We then amend the sketch scheme as necessary to provide a final fully considered proposal as agreed with the client.
scheme design - Involves working up the scheme approved by the client to produce sufficient documentation to lodge a planning application. We submit the application and undertake reasonable negotiations to allow the application to be determined.
building regulations - We develop and work up the approved scheme to enable a Building Regulations Application to be submitted. We also supply other consultants with sufficient information to enable them to undertake their work and include any non-standard details within our drawing package.
production information - Comprises of producing a set of working drawings to enable a competent building contractor to build the approved scheme or enable a quantity surveyor to produce a bill of quantities.

Justin Stephens ACIAT
Justin has over 15 years experience within the Construction industry, starting as a technical assistant for a local developer, later becoming a design manager leading design teams on developments within Cornwall that have achieved a BREEAM Excellent standard.
Whilst being a proud father of two, Justin enjoys coaching football and cricket within Cornwall at both club and county level.
Albie
Albie is the newest member to SPS Architectural and by far the most well behaved.
Albie has keen interests in treats, tennis balls and long walks. He specialises in retrieval; both land and water.
He is a great asset to the team and is often rewarded for his hard work and contribution to the office.
