About us
From our self-designed BREEAM Excellent rated office in Redruth, we deliver architectural services across Cornwall and Devon, with a strong focus on residential projects — from small extensions and bespoke homes to large-scale developments. Our experienced team provides a complete service, guiding clients through every stage of the process from concept and feasibility to planning, building regulations, and final completion.
With nearly two decades of experience, SPS Architectural is a trusted practice with a team of skilled architectural technologists who bring creativity and technical expertise to every project. We proudly serve clients across Redruth, Truro, Falmouth, Penryn, Perranporth, St Mawes, and beyond, delivering designs that combine innovation, practicality, and sustainability.
The team
Justin Stephens ACIAT
Justin has over 15 years experience within the Construction industry, starting as a technical assistant for a local developer, later becoming a design manager leading design teams on developments within Cornwall that have achieved a BREEAM Excellent standard.
Whilst being a proud father of two, Justin enjoys coaching football and cricket within Cornwall at both club and county level.
Elliot Bullen BA(Hons)
Having worked with SPS Architectural during his summer holidays since 2019, he joined the practice full-time in 2024, bringing several years of experience and a strong understanding of our approach to design and construction. Elliot is currently studying towards his Master’s in Architecture at the Centre for Alternative Technology in Wales, having graduated from Falmouth University in 2024.
Outside of architecture, he has a strong background in gymnastics, having been a member of the Great Britain national squad and British Champion on the pommel Horse. He also enjoys weightlifting, golf and is currently renovating his own flat.
Albie
Albie has been a valued member of SPS Architectural for several years and remains, by far, one of the most well-behaved members of the team.
With a keen interest in treats, tennis balls and long walks, Albie specialises in retrieval — both land and water.
A great asset to the team, he provides valuable support around the office and is regularly rewarded for his hard work and continued contribution.
