Client: Private
Contractor: Practical Developments
Cost: £1.6 Million

SPS were approached back in 2005 to deliver a residential development in Portreath, Cornwall, comprising nine two-bedroom houses and four additional two-bedroom apartments, collectively known as Homefield Park.

The scheme emphasises contemporary design and modern layouts, while ensuring energy efficiency and low running costs. Construction was carried out using a timber frame system supplied by Frame Homes UK, enabling the project to be delivered within a very quick lead time. The use of timber frame also contributes to the scheme’s credentials as a sustainable development, offering both reduced environmental impact and excellent thermal performance.

Located within walking distance of Portreath’s beach, the development is well-placed for access to local amenities and community facilities. Its location also provides strong connections to wider Cornwall, with the A30 just a short distance away.

Homefield Park represents a carefully planned residential project that brings together modern construction methods, sustainability, and practical living spaces in one of Cornwall’s most well-regarded coastal communities.
